Palace on Wheels Schedule
Palace On Wheels, the royal train of India takes you to the majestic terrains of Rajasthan as you soak the essence of the royal hospitality of Rajasthan. The train starts its weeklong lavish voyage from New Delhi, the capital of India, every Wednesday. After a day tour of Delhi, the train moves its wheels towards Rajasthan at night.
The first halt of the train is at Jaipur, the Pink City, on Thursday morning. While Wednesday morning sees the end of the journey at 6 A.M., when the train reaches the Safdarjung Train Station, New Delhi.
This royal ride covers fantastic destinations in Rajasthan like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Jaisalmer, and more. The journey winds up at Agra, the land of the Taj Mahal. From Agra, the train proceeds back to Delhi where the magical journey ends.
In addition to the impeccable Taj Mahal you will also enjoy some of the most breathtaking monuments in Rajasthan. These include Amber Fort, Jaipur City Palace, Lake Palace, Jag Mandir, Mehrangarh Fort, Patwon-ki-Haveli, and many more. Rajasthan is also a great place to observe the rich wildlife of India.
