Located quite close to the Taj Mahal, Chini Ka Rauza is a mesmerizing tomb, which is dedicated to Allama Afzal Khan, the Prime Minister of Mughal dynasty, the Mullah of Shiraz, at the time of the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan. The name of the building comes from tiles of different colors like green, blue and yellow, adorning the walls. This rectangular- shaped structure has a bulbous tomb, an orthogonal chamber in the centre and blue tiles with several inscriptions. Chini Ka Rauza is a mix of Persian and Mughal architectural styles.
